Once Upon a Smile is thrilled to announce its Grand Charity Ball, taking place on Saturday, 10th May, at the iconic Emirates Old Trafford. This glittering event promises an unforgettable evening of entertainment and fundraising, hosted by the charity’s Co-Founders.
And in the words of our charity Co-Founders Danny Miller & Daniel Jillings, the event is ‘BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER BEFORE’.
This well coveted event for Greater Manchester children’s bereavement charity, Once Upon a Smile is their biggest events of the year- and it will not be without it’s surprises!
The Grand Ball will feature spectacular performances and will have over 30 celebrities in attendance. We will have you “reaching for the stars” with our very first act announcement – the ultimate duo from S CLUB – Jo & Jon.
MORE incredible acts will be announced in the lead-up to the event, ensuring a night filled with music, joy, and inspiration.
Previous acts to appear have included 5ive, BoyzLife, 911, Kelly Llorenna (of N-Trance), Chesney Hawkes and Scouting for Girls.
There will also be an auction and raffle with some incredible prizes to be won.
It also wouldn’t be a Once Upon a Smile event without some extra sparkle on the night.
Daniel Jillings, co-founder of Once Upon a Smile, shared his excitement:
“This event is a testament to the incredible support we receive from our community. It’s a chance for us to come together, celebrate, and raise vital funds that allow us to continue providing emotional and practical support to bereaved families. We can’t wait to welcome everyone to the Emirates Old Trafford for what will undoubtedly be a night to remember.”
The Grand Ball promises to bring together supporters, friends, and families for an evening of glitz and glamour, all in aid of a meaningful cause. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Once Upon a Smile’s bereavement services, helping children and young people following the death of a loved one.
Tickets are £120 per person and include an arrival drinks reception, 3-course meal and entertainment and laughter throughout. Tables and sponsorship options are also available.
