More families, including those at work, are either struggling to provide Christmas for their children or just need a little helping hand.
We understand that Christmas may be a difficult time and bring additional difficulties.
This appeal aims to relieve some pressures from our families by providing children and young people with presents and gifts, in line with each child’s interest. We aim to provide all children with a sack of gifts.
In addition to presents, we also offer our families the opportunity of a supermarket gift card to support with additional groceries around Christmas time.
Our Christmas appeal is offered to families that are being supported or have been supported by Once Upon a Smile. You do not need to apply to be supported, your bereavement practitioner will make contact in the build up to Christmas and ask if you would like this additional support.
We rely on the support of both corporate and individuals during the festive period to help us make the appeal possible. This can be by way of donation, sponsoring a family’s Christmas or taking part in a fundraising event. if you would like more information on events and ways to help support, just click below.
