Summer holiday support scheme

We understand that the cost of additional groceries whilst children are at home during the summer school holidays can cause additional worries due to the length of time children and young people are at home, rather than in school.

In addition to the above, we have recognised the increased stress and worry the purchase of school uniform and accessories brings, especially the requirements for branded school uniforms.

Our Summer Holiday Support Scheme aims to support bereaved families with the cost of additional groceries and the purchase of school uniforms to relieve these additional stresses.  We work with our families to support where based on each families individual need.

We will work with you to understand what support during the summer holidays would best suit your needs. This can be support with school uniforms, both branded and otherwise or support with supplying you with a supermarket gift card for additional groceries.

Dependant on the budget available at the time, we may be able to offer both support types to our families.

Our summer holiday support scheme is reliant of available budgets at the time and cannot be guaranteed to run each summer.
