Residential holidays

Throughout the year we run residential holidays for the children and young people being supported by Once upon a Smile.

Our residential holidays provide a safe and supportive space for children to ‘be children’, helping to reduce isolation, build confidence,  providing ‘time out’ for fun and laughter.

Our fun-based residential holidays are an opportunity to take part in lots of fun activities. Types of activities are varied but may include messy play, theme days, treasure hunts, slip ‘n’ slide, adventure playground, free play, animal feeding, arts & crafts and party games…the list goes on!

“I really enjoyed the residential at the children’s adventure farm personally my favourite bit about the residential was seeing the animals walking a sheep and going on the slip n slide. However I also enjoyed making friends and talking to them about my dad it made me feel so much better because it made me realize that I was not on my own and there was other people who understand how I feel.

I wouldn’t change anything about the residential it was truly amazing I would like to say thank you for inviting me”
